All the bowling alleys in Sabah that we could find are in Kota Kinabalu. KK Galaxy Bowl at Centre Point Sabah has 28 lanes and hosts the city's tournaments. Strikers Bowl at Sutera Harbour is a resort centre open 10am to 10pm daily. A third, My Bowl at 1Borneo Hypermall, is also open; its owner posted an update in April 2026.

Which centre to choose
For league or tournament bowling, KK Galaxy Bowl is the hub. It hosted the DBKK Mayor's Cup in February 2025, where team entry cost RM850. It also staged junior circuit events in July 2026. So expect regular bowlers and a pro shop counter.
Strikers Bowl suits visitors staying near Sutera Harbour, since it sits inside the marina and country club. Meanwhile, My Bowl in the north of the city is convenient for UMS students. A 2026 dealer list names its pro shop, and Google reviews from 2025–26 show the lanes running.
Outside Kota Kinabalu
We searched for centres in Sandakan, Tawau, Keningau and at Imago mall but found none. We also found no sign of a "Megalanes Sabah". If you live on the east coast, the nearest lanes are in Kota Kinabalu, a long drive or a short flight away.
Labuan has no centre either. So the nearest lanes for Labuan residents are in KK, by ferry or plane; our page on bowling in Labuan covers the options.

How much does a game of bowling cost in Sabah?
None of the Kota Kinabalu centres publish rates online, and we found no dated price posts. So we can't give a reliable figure. For a rough idea, mall centres elsewhere in Malaysia charged RM7 to RM12 a game in 2026, plus about RM3 for shoes. Ask at the counter.
Is there a bowling alley in Sandakan or Tawau?
We didn't find one. Searches for Sandakan, Tawau and Keningau turned up no tenpin centre. If you know of one, please tell us. Until then, Kota Kinabalu is the only place in Sabah where we could confirm lanes.
